La Bataille de Schoengrabern 1805

This historical wargame recreates the November 1805 engagement at Schön­grabern, where Marshal Joachim Murat’s French advance guard confronts General Peter Bagration’s Russian rear guard. Bagration seeks to delay the French long enough for the separated Russian and Austrian forces under Kutuzov to reunite before the Battle of Austerlitz. Players command French Imperial and Russian units, including Cossacks, Austrian Hussars, Russian Jaegers, and leaders such as Oudinot, Suchet, and Bagration. Two maps depict the vineyard-filled battlefield, while special rules introduce a first combat in the vineyards that changes how the engagement plays. The game also includes a commemorative essay on Murat’s maneuvers and the battle.
