Nights of Payne Town

A story-arc collection for City of Mist, this book contains ten cases of crime and magic set in a city plagued by violence and hidden supernatural forces. The cases can be played individually or linked into a campaign, following three strands: personal tragedies, a hunt for magical objects and beings, and a struggle for control of the criminal underworld. Each case includes a player teaser, background, locations, clues, characters, dangers, and maps. The three storylines converge in a final plot involving legendary figures and a power feeding on the city’s misery.
