Each round, players use a personal set of nine double-sided town tiles to assemble a 3x3 layout while three scoring cards are revealed that specify objectives (for example, most of a symbol on one road or longest contiguous road). All players build simultaneously and may aim for one, two or all three scoring objectives. When the first player finishes, a 90-second sand timer is started and everyone else has that time to complete their layout; ties favor the player who finished earlier. Points are awarded based on which scoring cards each player meets, with totals tracked across multiple rounds.
