No Game Over

Players take on characters in a video-game–themed card game where each turn begins a new Level that presents curses or enemy encounters. Players use equipment, lives, and cards from hand to win fights while opponents play cards to hinder them. Winning grants lives and loot from defeated enemies; losing costs a life. Play continues until one player reaches the maximum number of lives and defeats the Final Boss or until all other players lose their lives. Eliminated players become ghosts and remain active, using ghost abilities to interfere with remaining players. Plays 2–6 players in about 15–30 minutes and uses a deck of 144 pop-culture–referencing cards.
