On Stage!

A theatrical role-playing game inspired by the comedies and tragedies of William Shakespeare. Each player portrays a character with a secret profile, personal goals, and abilities, creating a different version of the play in every session. The game is played in acts and scenes, with players bidding for control of each scene and deciding its setting, participants, and events. A Director oversees the bidding, handles non-player characters, and resolves debates, fights, and accidents using character abilities and cards. The boxed set includes rules, character profiles, a stage, character pieces, idiomatic sentence cards, and beginner materials. Games typically involve 5–12 players and last 90–120 minutes.
