Phantom Fury: Second Edition

A solitaire tactical urban combat simulation of the Second Battle of Fallujah, November 2004. Players command a US Marine battalion clearing city zones through close-quarters assaults and street-by-street movement. Gameplay emphasizes real-world urban tactics: choosing methods for assaulting buildings, positioning forces to reduce sniper effects, and allocating support assets such as UAVs, CAS, anti-armor teams, and tanks. Hidden insurgent forces appear during advances and reveal varied behaviors—guerrilla fighters, suicidal attackers, or decoys—while optional rules add insurgent direct fire, RPG attacks, and civilian-population effects. The scenario ends when map control is contested; victory depends on zone control, time taken, and losses to determine major, minor, or costly outcomes.
