Add lakes to the transportation network and populate them with ferries. Lakes connect routes entering through harbors, allowing all routes linked to the same lake to function as one large station. Ferries score points based on the number placed in their lake and can be added for free when a lake has more harbors than ferries. The expansion also includes objectives involving lake layouts and destinations, such as reaching an island with travelers or enclosing a hydroelectric plant within a closed lake.
