Players take part in a dangerous expedition across the western seas toward Güldenland, a distant land of ancient cultures, exotic spices, great wealth, and unfamiliar creatures. The Horasreich sponsors the voyage and seeks to establish trade, while Thorwalian pirates, the Empire, and Al'Anfa pursue their own interests. As the journey unfolds, the heroes become involved in rival claims, naval conflicts, and political intrigues surrounding the expedition.
