Renegade

Players take the roles of underground hackers resisting a city-controlling artificial intelligence. Each player builds and customizes a deck of command cards representing tools, software and illicit gear, then jacks into an SMC’s network and moves across server partitions to execute informational, destructive, deceptive and cognitive attacks. Encounters include escalating countermeasures, Sparks and Guardians that threaten to overrun the network, and unique challenges tied to one of several SMC AIs. Between runs, players can visit the black-market bar to acquire upgrades and tweak their decks to better survive and seize control of the system.
