Set up the bag with 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 Strife Dice for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 players, respectively. At the beginning of each round, draw two dice per player from the bag, then roll and add 1 Strife Die from the supply to the draft pool (p. 4, 6).

No. A Strife Die may be placed next to any color, but it is considered a distinct color and must obey all normal placement restrictions; it cannot go on a color-restricted space or share an edge with another Strife Die (p. 7).

No. If a row or column contains two Strife Dice, it does not have all unique colors. Strife Dice must also follow any additional restrictions shown on the Strife Board (p. 7).

At the end of your turn, you may collect every Pioneer Card whose goal you achieved and keep the cards face-up near your Player Board. No replacement Pioneer Cards are revealed after a card is collected (p. 9).

After choosing your Window Pattern Card, you may discard one or both Flourish Cards; discarded cards give neither points nor penalties. You receive 1 additional Favor Token for each Flourish Card you keep (p. 10).

Tied players split the point values for all places covered by the tie, rounding down. For example, if two players tie for first on a 12/8/5 objective, each receives 10 points: (12 + 8) ÷ 2 (p. 12).
