Santa Maria: American Kingdoms

This expansion adds new buildings, scholars, bishops and shipping tiles to the base game and introduces several modular rules to change setup and strategies. New modules include a cocoa mechanic, specialist roles, a governor system, and an asymmetrical Mayan City role that gives one player unique rules and objectives. The Mayan City module supports solo play and scales to 1–5 players. Players integrate these components with the base game’s card and worker placement systems, adapting income, scoring and action options as the new modules are enabled.
