The Bell Must Toll Tonight

A 2–3 hour one-shot for a fantasy roleplaying game, designed for four 4th-level characters. Players take the roles of investigators from Venator Obscuras, a guild that contains supernatural and magical threats, and investigate strange energy surges in the town of Neverpeak. The party must reach a set of anointed bells outside the town and ring them before midnight to close the gates opened during Spirit’s Eve. Along the way, they face a demon and a race against time. The adventure includes five premade characters, nine encounters, and a new monster stat block.
