The Black Fortress: Death Master

This Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Edition adventure takes a party of 4–6 characters of levels 8–10 into a mysterious fortress in the Negative Energy Plane. The stronghold is rumored to contain the Black Skull Staff, an artifact capable of opposing the Greater Demon Holofax, and the last known owner of the staff, the enigmatic Death Master. The module introduces the Netherworld Campaign Setting with new races, monsters, classes, feats, spells, and magic items. It includes four pregenerated characters, original undead-themed creatures, new creature templates, and appendices containing most of the rules and statistics needed to run the adventure.
