The Collective

A tabletop roleplaying scenario follows five friends sharing a home over the course of one year. The story explores friendship, relationships, jealousy, shared spaces, parties, exams, and other aspects of communal living. Across four acts, one for each season, players and the game master develop the characters and decide which conflicts take center stage. A simple photograph-based mechanic provides inspiration for narrative and character scenes, while each season ends with a major event that may strengthen the group or put it under strain. The collective’s future depends on the choices made during play.
