The Cursed Keep

A mysterious plague afflicts a small farming village, and neither herbal remedies nor divine prayers can stop it. A local healer traces the disease to a strange visitor and an earlier outbreak linked to a powerful archmage. A party of 4–6 characters of levels 2–4 must travel into a dangerous forest, locate the archmage’s abandoned tower, and search for a cure before the illness spreads. This system-agnostic, mid-level one-shot includes optional monster statistics for OSRIC and 5E.
