The Death Knells

This roleplaying supplement explores music in the early penal settlements of New South Wales, covering military bands, civilian performances, convict musicians, and Aboriginal spiritual music. It includes historical source material and a musician profession for military, free-settler, or convict characters. A scenario begins with the strangling of three members of Sydney’s Night Watch and the vandalism of the Harbour Bell. Investigators follow rumors of a strange convict song, hidden bells, and possible Mythos rituals as they uncover the purpose behind the killings.
