The Dispensatory of Doctor Macdead

This historical horror supplement examines medical practice in the late 18th-century Australian penal colonies, where scarce supplies, limited knowledge, and a lack of regulation allow charlatans and amateur surgeons to operate freely. It provides background on colonial medicine and a scenario seed involving an unusual medical book and treatments drawn from its pages. Strange symptoms and reports of human transformations spread through the Parramatta community. Investigators must uncover the secret behind these disturbing cases, the convict surgeon James Macdead, and his unexplained disappearance.
