The Field Guide to Superheroes Vol. 2

A reference guide to superhero archetypes in modern comics, focusing on characters’ origins and narrative roles rather than their specific powers. Each archetype is discussed in general before being illustrated with a fully developed hero suitable for use as a player character or important NPC in an ICONS campaign. The entries provide ideas and inspiration for creating heroes, with an emphasis on character and story.
