The Forbidden Land

A fantasy world for tabletop roleplaying, where characters come into being, explore a hex-based map, and may eventually retire—or die along the way. Optional mini-adventures can be added to the exploration, while the map can expand to include oceans, islands, and other continents. The setting is intentionally open-ended, leaving its details and future development to the players and Dungeon Master.
