The Hollow Mountain (Pathfinder)

A traditionally peaceful nomadic wood elf tribe turns against nearby human settlements, raiding for prisoners and destroying signs of civilization. Hired to investigate, the characters follow the tribe into the Hollow Mountain, a vast cavern-filled landmark hidden in the forest. The adventure combines wilderness investigation and dungeon exploration, with corrupted plants, hostile sylvan creatures, elven fanatics, mutants, prehistoric monsters, and the remnants of ancient lizardfolk experiments. A portal deep within the mountain leads to a nightmarish plane, where the characters confront the aberrant force behind the spreading madness. Designed for four to six characters of levels 8–12, it is intended for one or two sessions.
