The Idol of Bala

A party of 4–6 characters of 2nd–3rd level ventures into the Untamed Gauntlet after an expedition returns with a stone tablet covered in strange runes. An elderly priest believes the markings reveal the location of a lost temple to Bala, which may contain a rare white-opal idol. Acting in secret, he issues the party a Writ of Salvage and sends them to recover the relic.
