The Lamps are Going Out: World War I

Players take command of the opposing alliances and their constituent factions in a compact strategic simulation of the First World War. Each turn includes an event card phase, a movement phase (moving up to two units), a combat phase where cards support attacks, and a production phase for refitting, building, research, trench construction, or lending production points to allies. Production points are a scarce resource and require careful allocation between rallying forces, investing in technology, and supporting partners. Event cards introduce historical conditions, leaders, and political effects that shape strategic choices throughout the game.
