An expansion transforms the second encounter set of a seafaring scenario into a harder, nightmare-mode challenge. Players continue a campaign to recover a stolen artifact from Umbar, facing new treacherous locations and escalated Corsair tactics. The deck adds 20 cards that replace specific cards in the original encounter deck, introducing hazards like fortified positions and abilities that boost enemy aggression. A new captain enemy wields a cursed sword that generates resources when it inflicts excess damage, changing threat priorities and combat decisions. This product requires the base card game, the Grey Havens deluxe expansion, and the corresponding adventure pack to play.
