The Melford Murder

A prominent citizen is found dead in the small village of Melford, leaving scarce clues, numerous suspects, and a stumped constabulary. The characters investigate a web of shadow and intrigue to identify the killer and bring them to justice for a rich reward. Designed for 4–8 first-level characters, the adventure can be played on its own or as the second installment in a trilogy. In the latter case, the investigation presents greater risks and rewards as the killer works to protect their secret.
