The One Ring

A narrative roleplaying game set in Middle-earth roughly twenty years after Bilbo’s disappearance, focusing on the Lone-lands of Eriador. Players create heroes who travel the countryside, face foes in combat, and interact with notable personalities while the Shadow grows in the west. The rulebook provides mechanics for journeys, combat, and council scenes, guidance for the Lore-master on running campaigns, rules for magical treasure and the encroaching Shadow, and a bestiary of adversaries. It includes patron characters who sponsor adventures, options for creating unique eldritch creatures, and a complete introductory adventure with tutorial advice for new Lore-masters.
