The Sword & the Dove

A short adventure for characters nearing the end of their first career or beginning a second. After being robbed at a coaching inn, the characters pursue the suspected thief, unaware that the innkeeper is directing them toward a hidden covenant of mutants. A Witch Hunter of Verena is investigating the mutants, who are led by a Priestess of Shallya and have been receiving supplies from the innkeeper. Fearing that they will reveal his involvement, he attempts to use the characters as an unwitting extermination squad.
