Toast of the Town

A traditional-fantasy adventure module for Risus, designed for a single session with a Game Master and up to six Player Characters. Heroes are called to investigate devilish creatures infesting the sewers beneath a town marked by fire, wreckage, and a grim public display. The adventure centers on character interaction, exploration, and creative problem-solving, with social, ethical, moral, and logistical challenges alongside its pulp-heroic action. It can support a range of character power levels and works for small groups or one-on-one play. The events stand alone while also establishing a setting for linked adventures.
