With a Smile & a Gun

Two rival gang leaders vie for control of a city's underground during a stylized Prohibition-era noir setting. Each round, players draft dice from a common pool: one die determines movement to place influence on a map of districts, and the other selects an action. Drafting repeats several times, then a neutral NPC uses the remaining die to move and trigger effects. Players balance aggression and subtlety, managing attention (the sum of action dice) to gain a special scheming action for the quieter player, and contest district majorities for points. The game plays over three rounds; the player with the most points at the end controls the city.
