Swoop

An abstract space-themed strategy game for 2–4 players. Each player moves six colored spacemen from matching starting spaces around the edge of a circular board toward a home area in the center, which lies opposite their starting side. On each turn, one spaceman moves one space left, right, or inward, but not diagonally or outward. Landing on an opponent’s spaceman freezes it in place; when the occupying spaceman moves away, the frozen piece returns to its starting location. Star spaces protect the spaceman occupying them from being frozen or sent back.
