Homeworlds

Players command rival space-faring civilizations and maneuver colored pyramids that represent ships and homeworlds across a shared star map. The core play is an abstract, perfect-information strategy contest: players use pieces with color-coded powers (attack, movement, growth, transformation) to build fleets, move ships, and alter piece abilities with the goal of destroying the opponent’s homeworld before theirs is destroyed. Variants support two-player and multiplayer formats; the included components provide fixed powers and limited resources, so play focuses on tactical positioning, resource management, and foreseeing opponent responses rather than hidden roles or random chance.
