1987 Channel Tunnel

Players command competing British or French construction teams racing to connect a tunnel under the Channel. The game centers on advancing a tunnel-boring machine toward a central meeting point while managing worker placement, technology development, and funding acquisition. Actions are taken by playing portions of a personal tower of colored discs; played segments become unavailable until a taller tower is placed on them. Rounds end when both players pass, discs are returned to the bag, and a new round begins. Scoring occurs when the tunnel center is reached, awarding points for technology progress, held cards, and how closely machines stayed on course.
