Arkwright: The Card Game

Players run industrial businesses during the early years of the Industrial Revolution, opening and upgrading factories, building machines, and hiring workers to produce goods over three decades divided into rounds. On a turn, players play cards to expand operations, improve factory quality, select improvements, manage payroll and maintenance, buy or sell shares, and take loans. A production phase resolves goods output, market demand fluctuates, and players sell domestically, ship overseas, or store surplus. Development markers and cards provide longer-term upgrades. At the end, remaining goods, loans, and shipping position adjust share value; final score equals shares times share value.
