How to Save a World

Players take the role of leading researchers racing to prevent a planet-killing asteroid. Three concurrent projects — a planet-busting laser, an energy shield, and an evacuation of native species to a safe moon — each have a slim chance of success and require different resources and efforts. On each turn, players place workers or spend action cards to gather resources, advance project tracks, and move species toward evacuation. At the end of each round projects are tested and the asteroid advances, forcing players to balance collaboration and competition as they allocate limited time and actions to maximize their chance of saving the world.
