Monuments: Wonders of Antiquity

Players build ancient monuments and record them in history to earn recognition. On monument turns, three actions allow them to draw cards, erect new monuments, or expand monuments already in their display. Each monument type can be built by only a limited number of players, making timing and card management important. Historian turns let players document opponents’ monuments, removing one card from each monument mentioned while increasing its potential scoring value. Monuments must remain large enough to be considered interesting, and all historian tokens must be used to avoid penalties. Copyists can challenge larger monuments of the same type, reducing the points awarded to their original builders.
