Sock Monsters

Players control industrious elves who move from the center of a house-shaped board to search chests and lockers for colored socks while monsters advance from the corners. Play alternates between a monster phase—where players secretly reveal a die under a monster figure to determine whether it sleeps or can act—and an elf phase, in which elves open storage spaces and collect socks. Monsters can steal lone socks and can be used strategically against opponents. The first player to assemble three matching pairs of socks wins. The game includes hidden compartments and evolving elements that change the board state as play progresses.
