Tiger Leader

Players command a German armored Kampfgruppe composed of tanks, armored cars, halftracks, trucks and supporting infantry, with occasional air or heavy-weapons support allocated for missions. The game runs nine historical campaigns that can be played separately or linked into a continuous mega-campaign spanning 1939–1945, and mission planning centers on selecting vehicles, crews and commanders whose skills and personalities affect performance. Units gain experience and fatigue over missions, so roster management and when to rest or push crews is a key decision. Tactical engagements use area movement on randomly generated terrain tiles and counters for each vehicle and squad, with a fog-of-war mechanic that hides unseen enemy elements. After battles, units can be refit and upgraded as new tank models and equipment become available.
