Tyrant: Battles of Carthage versus Syracuse

Adds Carthage and Syracuse to Great Battles of Alexander, covering twelve battles from the long struggle for control of the Western Mediterranean between 480 and 276 B.C. The tactical simulation features Syracuse’s hoplite-based armies, cavalry, and Greek and barbarian mercenaries against Carthaginian tribal levies, mercenaries, and allied Greek forces. Scenarios include battles at Himera, Akragas, Crimissos River, Tunis, and Lilybaeum. Great Battles of Alexander, Deluxe Edition is required for maps, basic rules, and some counters; the scenarios can also be played with the Simple Great Battles of History rules.
