Viceroy

Players bid gems to recruit characters and enact laws in a fantasy struggle for control of Laar. Cards are placed into a personal pyramid, with each slot’s level altering the card’s effect—providing resources, extra cards, military or magical boosts, or victory points. Players manage gems and card choices to expand their state and develop authority throughout the game. After several rounds of bidding and card placement, the player with the most power points wins.
