BattleTech: Alpha Strike

Una versió de joc ràpid d’un wargame de combat cuirassat futurista ambientat durant l’era de la Invasió dels Clans. Els jugadors despleguen BattleMechs individuals i altres unitats representades mitjançant Cartes d’Unitat abstractes derivades de les clàssiques fitxes de registre, i després maniobren i lluiten per terra, mar i aire amb les regles simplificades de Quick-Strike. El sistema permet jugar tant en taulers basats en hexàgons com en taulers sense hexàgons, i s’adapta als aficionats als wargames de miniatures que volen batalles més ràpides que les del reglament complet. Els jugadors formen les seves forces, resolen els combats amb daus i cartes, i persegueixen objectius com destruir o incapacitar les unitats rivals; el llibre inclou exèrcits d’exemple i una estructura de campanya llesta per jugar.
