This fantasy roleplaying adventure takes the party to Arkendale, an idyllic village built near a monastery buried by a landslide centuries ago. The monastery’s last abbot guarded a powerful relic once used to drive monsters from the forests of Alba. The villagers distrust outsiders after earlier adventurers awakened something beneath the ruins, leading to years of suffering before the entrance to the underworld was sealed. The characters must earn the villagers’ trust, uncover hidden loyalties, break the seal, and face the dangers below, including a powerful witch coven serving the Green Hunter. The adventure includes a gamemaster screen and prepares the campaign for threats facing all of Alba.
