Design Town

Players build a town by playing double-sided cards directly from the top of their deck instead of from a hand. A turn has a card-playing phase where cards are revealed and resolved one by one until the player stops or three cry-face icons end the run, and a building phase where coins earned can buy new cards or pay to flip and upgrade cards in the discard pile. All cards are double-sided, so discard and shuffling require care to avoid accidental flips. A player who nets eight or more victory points during a single card-playing phase wins the game immediately.
