Far Avalon

A science-fiction roleplaying setting on the isolated Far Avalon frontier, where the failure of a faster-than-light conduit cuts off dozens of colonies and independent states from the rest of human space. With the old authorities weakened, factions compete for resources, territory, and influence while raiders, rival governments, and political intrigue threaten the colonies. Characters can explore uncharted systems, enforce law aboard a naval vessel, serve as merchants or mercenaries, raid rival worlds, salvage abandoned warships, or investigate the cause of the conduit’s failure. The setting includes factions, alliances, star systems, colonies, major powers, and the intrigue-filled freeport of Landing City.
