Operation Veritable: ASL Historical Study 1945 Rhine

This historical study examines the British and Canadian offensive to reduce the Reichswald and clear German forces from west of the Rhine in early 1945. Scenarios depict combat in dense woods, mud, rain, and flooded terrain, with Allied troops facing unexpectedly effective German defenders. The package includes sixteen scenarios using standard geomorphic boards and an enclosed historical map, along with a campaign game based on that map. It is not a complete game and requires the ASL Rulebook, Beyond Valor, the British order of battle, and additional boards and overlays from other modules. Two-player play uses individual leaders, vehicles, and guns, with a high complexity and games lasting two hours or more.
