Players lead rival rabbit tribes as they explore an uninhabited island and establish new settlements. In each round, players place map tiles to expand the island, build camps on territories, follow paths around the board, harvest carrots, and upgrade buildings from camps to villages and towns. Territorial control is central: upgrading an opponent’s territory can transfer its ownership, while adjacent territories under one player’s control form Harvest Groups that produce larger yields. Action cards introduce events such as earthquakes and poor harvests. After 20 rounds, players score victory points for their buildings, with bonuses for the most carrots and largest Harvest Group.
