Players buy and sell shares, found and operate railway companies, lay track tiles, and run trains to earn revenue. The stock market moves with company performance; dividends, train purchases, and share sales affect company value and player control. This edition comes in modular units and optional regional kits, allowing one module for a shorter 1.5–3 hour session for 2–4 players or combined modules and expansions for longer games and more players. Rules follow classic 18xx mechanics with streamlined track building, phased train advancements, and banded share availability.
