Age of Discovery

Players act as investors in 15th–16th century maritime expeditions, buying and managing a fleet of ships to support famous explorers. They assign purchased vessels to expeditions, balance those commitments with trade contracts to generate income, and fulfill a personal contract that provides endgame points. Gameplay revolves around acquiring ships, choosing which voyages to fund, and completing trade assignments to raise the funds needed for more lucrative opportunities. Victory goes to the player with the most points from expedition assignments and their special contract.
