Company of Heroes

A World War II tactical board wargame that adapts the choices and mission strategies of the video game to a hex-and-area playfield. Players command one of several factions, maneuvering squads, armor and support units to contest resource points and capture objectives. Resources earned from controlled points fund buildings, unit purchases and veteran upgrades, which in turn unlock more powerful forces and abilities. Combat uses cover, spotting and flanking; players coordinate multi-unit tactics, decide which buildings to construct and which upgrades to prioritize, and pursue victory by accumulating points or destroying the enemy base.
