Expedition to Newdale

Players revisit the Longsdale setting in a campaign-driven adaptation of a card game, playing through multiple chapters that each take about 90 minutes. Each player manages a personal board, starts with a coal mine and a hand of cards, and develops a tableau of buildings and production chains. Rounds follow a five-phase structure: reveal an event and available workers, place numbered action markers, draw additional workers from a bag, resolve actions in marker order, then take a free build or draw and resolve automatic building effects. Worker draws introduce push-your-luck tension and force contingency planning across seven rounds per chapter, with final scoring determining the winner.
