Players lead competing Viking clans exploring and settling a newly discovered continent inspired by Norse mythology. Gameplay centers on a streamlined 4X experience: alternate-action turns where players play cards to explore, fight, develop territories, and gain Fame (victory points). Resources fund buildings, unit upgrades, card-drawing, and clan-specific improvements, while a recurring winter phase forces food management to sustain forces. The personal deck evolves as players replace cards each turn, enabling new tactics and technologies. The game ends after a fixed number of turns or sooner if a player controls enough key developed territories.
