Players command teams of heroes defending their boards against growing waves of enemies emerging from a shared portal. Over five rounds, each wave begins by determining enemy entry paths, while players can spend gold to rotate the portal and alter the distribution. Players then move and attack with their heroes before the enemies advance toward the board exits. Escaping enemies inflict damage, and cards can disrupt opponents’ plans. After the final round, the player with the fewest damage points wins.
